NEW Rustic Display Crates

Chalkboards UK has launched a new range of Rustic Wooden Crates specifically for retail displays.

The new range includes 3 different sizes - 250mm, 500mm and 750mm. They are all 350mm wide, with a depth of 255mm and have a solid base which has been stained in 4 different colours.

As they all have the same depth and width, with 3 different but related lengths, the crates fit together perfectly to make fantastic retail displays.

Prices start at £7.96 + VAT and delivery for a single crate, or £159.96 + VAT for a bundle of 19 crates that measure 1.5 x 2.1 metres when put together.

We're so happy with them, we used them as our main display at the Robinsons Brewery Trade show earlier this year. They are now sitting in our reception area displaying a wide selection of our products.

Chalkboards UK and WoodenBox UK at Robinsons Brewery Trade Show

On Tuesday 19th April 2016, Chalkboards UK and WoodenBox UK exhibited at the Robinsons Brewery Trade Show at the St. Helens Rugby League ground at Langtree Park.

Exhibiting alongside brands such as Sipsmiths, Diageo, Magners, Stowford Press, Frobishers, Fentimans, The Lakeland Distillery, Kraken Rum and others; our new stand really made a big impression.

Centre piece was the new Rustic Display Crate bundle, which attracted a great deal of attention and was ideal for displaying a wide range of products from both ranges.

The main aim of the show is to give Robinsons landlords the opportunity to look at new food and drink products to sell, as well as new ways to promote them.

It was a great day for us, selling a number of our show offers on the day, as well as making new contacts amongst our fellow exhibitors.

Handmade Burger Co. at Grand Central Birmingham

The working relationship between Chalkboards UK and handmade burger Co. continues to develop as we helped to fit out their new Grand Central Birmingham restaurant.

The majority of the work carried out for handmade burger Co. is bespoke, with only a few items ordered 'off-the-shelf'. As a UK manufacturer and printer of chalkboard and retail display products, we are able to respond very quickly to a client's requirements, producing pre-production samples in a matter of days.

Leicester University Students' Union Gets a Face-lift

Chalkboards UK and WoodenBox UK have both been working with the Students' Union at Leicester University for a number of years.

Recently, they decided to have a complete face-lift of their facilities, making them more contemporary and appealing to the students.

Our two businesses were asked to provide framed chalkboards for the menu displays and rustic trays and crates to display the produce.

The end results are stunning, making it look more like a high-end city centre brand than a Students' Union.

Beautifully Crafted for BrewDog

At Chalkboards UK, we're always happy to develop bespoke products for clients, never more so than when BrewDog approached us to design a new table top chalkboard for their bars.

The board was to promote their Punk IPA craft beer on bar tops around the country. BrewDog wanted a product that reflected the brand, so we designed a board with a top shaped to the contours of their shield logo, set in a hardwood base.

After samples were made and approved, an initial order was received and completed in two weeks. Their marketing department and bar managers were so pleased with the chalkboards, we received a repeat order for the same quantity a few months later.

Our work with BrewDog hasn't stopped there. They wanted a special sliding lid box made for the launch of a speciality craft beer called 'Death or Glory'.

Our sister company, WoodenBox UK, was able to design a hardwood box with a heat-branded logo that fitted the bill. Again, pre-production samples were made and once signed off, the order was delivered in less than two weeks, just in time for the launch of the beer.

The first 1000 orders of the beer received a bottle in the special presentation box.

These two bespoke products have allowed us to build up a great working relationship with BrewDog, for whom we are now working on another project for larger shaped chalkboards for their bottle shops.
